Build relationships with Siksika Nation and its surrounding communities. To connect with the Siksika Vulnerable population, Siksika High-Risk Youth and families and to connect them with the proper resources. They will provide ongoing support, develop case plans, and build relationships and collaborations with on-reserve and off-reserve resources. (ex: Treatment facilities, AA Meetings, Family Support groups, etc.) To work with Gleichen RCMP and the Police and Crisis Team “PACT” unit. The mobile support worker will support the individual’s needs and goals, referrals, and transition to other services. Mobile Outreach is a diversion program that will also focus on mitigating the impacts of street-level social disorder, addiction, and public intoxication. Walking the Wolf Trail is an agile and flexible team that responds as needed to best help Siksika families and community members.
